On May 19, 2026, Peace Committee meeting was held at Panamaram Grama Panchayath. Ms. Flaisy Jose welcomed the participants. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Sunil Kumar, District Panchayath Member and inaugurated by Ms. Lakshmi Alakkamuttam, the Panchayath president.
Ms. Shanti Jose, Panchayat vice president, Mr. Shajahan Kova, Mr. Jose Nilambanattu, Ms. Ajisha N. A., standing committee chairpersons and Ms. Shilly George, Tribal extension officer, felicitated the participants.
Mr. Sunil Kumar was elected as Chairman, Mr. Viswanathan as Vice Chairman, Ms. Lissy Pathrose as Convener, Mr. Balan as Joint Convener, and Ms. Chinnu and Balakrishnan as Core Team Volunteers. Various issues in the Panchayath requiring intervention of Neethi Vedhi were discussed. Ms. Lissy Pathrose delivered vote of thanks. 36 persons participated in the peace committee meeting.
