Formation of Women harmony club at Nellikkandam
On August 16, a women's club was formed at Nellikkandam hamlet in Meenangadi panchayat.

In our effort to address the main conflicts in the hamlets, the women of the locality are being brought together as pioneers of social transformation. One such meeting was held at Aakkoli hamlet in Thirunelli Panchayat on 30th June 2026. Mr. Chandran M. K, Mananthavady taluk coordinator, facilitated the discussions. Ms. Radha, tribal promoter, organized the meeting in which 40 women participated. Ms. Thankamani and Ms. Ponna Asokan were selected as President and Secretary respectively.
